Institutional Event for the Metalworking Sector in Venice

For a national organisation representing the metalworking and mechatronics industry, we managed an institutional event in Venice for its annual general assembly.

The project brought together around 300 guests over two days of meetings, discussion and relationship-building, with H-FARM as the main venue and a programme designed to combine content, representation and destination value.

A national appointment for a strategic sector

The general assembly represented an important moment for a key sector of the Italian economy, with high-profile guests and speakers leading the discussion on the most relevant topics for the industry.

The programme was structured in two phases: a first part reserved for the main industry stakeholders and a second phase also open to the public and students, extending the value of the event as an opportunity for dialogue between companies, institutions and new generations.

Functional venues with strong symbolic value

H-FARM was selected as the venue for the two-day assembly, offering a contemporary and dynamic setting aligned with the themes of innovation, education and the future of industry.

The gala dinner took place in the Salone del Ridotto at Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal, a prestigious Venetian venue that strengthened the institutional tone of the event and enhanced the relationship experience for guests.

Exclusive experience and institutional relationships

The programme included an exclusive after-hours visit to Palazzo Ducale, designed to offer guests a high-level cultural experience in one of Venice’s most representative landmarks.

This element enriched the assembly with a strong relationship-building moment, turning the destination into an integral part of the project rather than simply the logistical setting of the event.

This case study shows how an institutional event for the metalworking sector can become a strategic platform for discussion, representation and relationship-building. When content, venues and experiential programme are designed coherently, the annual assembly becomes a concrete opportunity to strengthen the role of the sector, engage qualified stakeholders and open the dialogue towards the future.
