Institutional Event for the Energy Sector in Venice

For a company in the energy sector, we managed the institutional opening of a new-generation energy facility in Marghera, Venice.

The event brought together over 350 guests, including ministers, institutional representatives, national media and senior corporate executives, requiring coordinated management of protocol, security, hospitality and communication.

Protocol and logistics for over 350 guests

We managed a dedicated organisational secretariat, coordinating travel, accommodation and individual requirements for invited guests.

Particular attention was given to institutional protocol, internal security and differentiated media accreditation, all essential to ensure smooth operations for a high-profile public event.

Ceremony, facility visit and press conference

The institutional programme included a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by authorities, followed by a guided tour of the facility in collaboration with the technical team.

A dedicated temporary structure inside the site hosted the official presentation and press conference, integrating institutional content, communication and the facility visit into one coherent journey.

Two venues to extend the event experience

The programme continued with lunch at Heritage Tower in Mestre and an exclusive dinner at Caffè Florian in St Mark’s Square.

The choice of two highly distinctive venues extended the event narrative beyond the official ceremony, adding a strong element of representation and relationship-building.

The event generated more than 85 media mentions across national publications, trade media and television, while 100% of the institutional guests confirmed their attendance. The project demonstrates how protocol, logistics, communication and venue selection can turn a corporate opening into a high-impact institutional event.
