International Congress for the Scientific/Biotech Sector in Rome
For an international scientific association and research institute, we managed an international congress in Rome focused on cellular senescence, translational research and the development of new therapeutic perspectives.
The project brought together around 200 participants, including scientists, clinicians, representatives from the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, investors and institutional figures from different countries, with a programme combining keynote lectures, symposia, panel discussions and networking moments.
A congress with high scientific value
The programme was designed to encourage dialogue between basic research, clinical practice, industry and regulation, with a specific focus on therapies targeting senescent cells and age-related diseases.
The headquarters of the National Research Council in Rome provided an authoritative setting aligned with the scientific and international profile of the congress.
Congress secretariat and speaker management
We managed the dedicated event website, the visual assets for the online congress secretariat and the logistics for speakers.
The work included travel plans, flights, accommodation in Rome, communication materials, support staff and operational coordination throughout the congress.
Networking, hospitality and cultural programme
The programme was enriched by social moments designed to encourage relationships and informal exchange between participants and speakers.
Welcome reception, gala dinner, catering services and private tours in Rome’s historic centre completed the experience, turning the congress into a journey combining scientific content, international networking and destination value.
This case study shows how an international scientific congress can become a strategic platform for exchange, collaboration and continuity between the scientific community, clinical practice and industry. When content, congress secretariat, speaker logistics and hospitality work together, the event generates value before, during and after the congress days.
