From the Piazza del Duomo to the medieval Albornoz fortress. Beautiful scenery and a brief history of the city of Orvieto to kick off the tour. Passing through the squares and narrow streets of Orvieto, you will feel as if you’ve stepped back in time. 

From here, together with specialised guides, the group will visit the underground city with Etruscan and medieval caves to discover the incredible history of this truly wonderful city.

After the tour of Orvieto’s underground world, the group makes its way to an Etruscan cave used as a private cellar for the ageing of precious bottles, to enjoy an excellent tasting of typical local products, accompanied by Orvieto extra virgin olive oil and excellent local wines, from Orvieto Classico DOC to Rosso Orvietano, and of course Vino Santo for dessert.
