On the Venetian shores of Lake Garda, amidst the centuries-old olive groves in the municipality of Malcesine, a special place was created after the Second World War to enhance local oil production. The members of the consortium developed an oil mill to enhance their farming activities, preserving the traditional tree-pruning and olive-harvesting systems. The consortium has since modernised the pressing stage to maximise the sensory qualities of the oil.

During the visit, guests will be guided through the history of olive processing to produce the renowned Garda extra virgin olive oil.

There are old tools, utensils, machinery, documents and the scent of past life, with a special section dedicated to the work and life of farmers, breeders and woodcutters

This is followed by an oil tasting with bruschetta and wine.
