The “Trenino Verde” (little green train) railway is an historic “gateway” that has connected inland Sardinia to the coast for more than 130 years. The little green train takes you from the sea to the hinterland, the island’s captivating heart, to experience a year-round journey through time, an exciting experience accessible to all, young and old. We can even book an old 1910 locomotive called the Bauchiero exclusively for the use of groups. A low-impact means of travel.

Departure is from the Arzachena station (15/20 min from Porto Cervo). The train will travel through one of the most beautiful stretches of the entire line, passing through a landscape of granite stones and cork oaks, a symbol of Gallura.

The train ride ends with lunch in a traditional restaurant in Tempio Pausania.
