Back to the past This excursion is a must to discover the inner part of the island. Along the way, guests will discover a truly different landscape. The destination is Orroli, a village where today there are 12 people over the age of 100 and they say it depends on the ideal environment and the delicious Cannonau red wine. Guests will be welcome by the owner of the Omu Axiu manor house. Possibility to visit also the private museum. At lunchtime guests can taste the typical dishes of this area and the famous Cannonau wine. After lunch we will visit the UNESCO heritage of Nuraghe Arrubiu, a testimony of Sardinian civilization.
Journey inside the Mother Earth and the secret of the distillation of herbs Travel along the beautiful southern coast, where the sea has the colors of the Caribbean and invites a photo stop. Arrival to the caves of Is Zuddas and visit of this particular place with incredible formations. Then we continue towards the small village of Nuxis, where they wait for us in a local restaurant for a good lunch followed by a demonstration of the distillation of local herbs, since Sardinia is famous for the growth of particular fragrant herbs to be used in medicine or as a perfume.
Speed boat excursion This is an excursion for lovers of sporting activities related to speed and adventure. The skipper will open the way to visit the coasts of Pula, from the sea of Forte Village to Capo Malfatano on a comfortable maxi boat to discover the creeks and the most enchanting beaches of this area. In fact, a fast boat is the most suitable means to reach the beaches, even the most secret and calm, far from the crowds of the main tourist objectives. A must is the small but famous beach of Tuerredda to admire for its Caribbean sea colors. During the excursion you can also take a swim in complete relax and enjoy the quiet natural environment of the sea. You can also admire the ancient Saracen towers that rise along the coast.
Archaeological tour and wine tasting This tour will take you on a fascinating route to the hinterland. First stop at Nuraghe Prisgiona, a typical prehistoric monument of Sardinia, dating back to the Bronze Age (XI – VI century BC Christ). The monument has the shape of a tower, a truncated cone, built with huge squared stones. Over the centuries the building was expanded with walls, towers. The itinerary continues through Arzachena, and to the tomb of the giants Coddu Vecchiu, which is a common grave of the Nuraghe era. Then you will reach a local winery for a tour and a wine tasting. Later transfer to a local farm for a delicious Sardinian lunch.
Excursion to the archaeological site of Nora and to the town of Pula Excursion in the ancient ruins of the first city of Sardinia: Nora. The theater, the baths, the patrician villas, the market and the tower evoke a glorious and never forgotten past. Among the streets of this city you can rediscover the ancient urban, merchant and artistic wisdom of the peoples of the ancient Mediterranean. We also visit the charming town of Pula, with its shops and nightlife.
Excursion on the Green Train of Sardinia Sardinia has an unforgettable coastline, but the interior of the island is as much beautiful. A fun way to explore it is aboard of the Little Green Train, a vintage locomotive that sneaks through forests, bridges and tunnels in some of the most scenic mountain areas of the island. The narrow-gauge train tracks were laid in 1888 to serve the most isolated areas of Sardinia. The train runs on scheduled routes, connecting Sassari and Palau.
